I need a formed tissue

A tissue that makes up the nails is Keratin. The keratin in the nail is a hard surface. The nails are basically connected to roots that help keep them steady at the end of your finger tips. The matrix of the nail produces the hard Keratin. The nails are formed into a U-shaped form. Where the Cuticles begin. Which the nails start to grow in the nail root where it is hidden under the cuticle.
